FBI – Birmingham
Acquired by Easterly Government Properties in June 2016 as part of a four-property portfolio acquisition, FBI – Birmingham is a 96,278-square foot property and one of 56 field offices of the FBI, a bureau-level federal agency within the U.S. Department of Justice, which serves a dual role as both a federal criminal investigative body and an intelligence agency.

FBI – Knoxville
FBI – Knoxville is a 99,130 leased square foot LEED Certified, built-to-suit property completed in 2010 and leased for an initial 15 year term. FBI – Knoxville is one of 56 field offices of the FBI, which serves a dual role as both a federal criminal investigative body and an intelligence agency. FBI – Knoxville’s geographic reach spans 41 counties and includes oversight of three FBI resident agencies throughout the state of Tennessee. The property possesses a number of security features including reinforced fencing, a visitor screening facility and secondary entrance guard booth, vehicle barriers and a secured parking garage, ballistic glass windows and redundant power systems.

FBI – Little Rock
Built in 2001, the FBI – Little Rock facility houses one of the FBI’s 56 field offices and is tasked with carrying out investigations, assessing local and regional crime threats, and working closely with partners on cases and operations. The property is supported by statewide satellite locations in El Dorado, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Jonesboro, Marion and Texarkana. Building security upgrades include vehicle barriers, secured code-required parking and a recently renovated visitors screening facility. The exterior of the building has a unique facade constructed with a 25-foot curved glass curtain wall framed by five full-height columns at the public entrance.

FBI – Mobile
Easterly has acquired a 76,112-square foot Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) field office in Mobile, Alabama (“FBI – Mobile”). FBI – Mobile is a three-story office building and single-story vehicle maintenance facility located on a roughly four-acre site that houses the FBI’s Mobile field office, which oversees federal operations over 36 counties through five satellite offices. This build-to-suit property was completed in 2001 and is 100% leased to the General Services Administration (GSA) for the beneficial use of the FBI until December 2029. The FBI – Mobile field office is enhanced by a number of security features, including but not limited to perimeter fencing, controlled access, a vehicle repair annex and future plans for the construction of a Visitor Screening Facility to reside on the perimeter of the property.

FBI – New Orleans
Acquired in May 2019, FBI – New Orleans is a four-story single tenant facility located on a 6.6-acre site chosen by the government, and which oversees federal operations in all of Louisiana, including six satellite offices in Baton Rouge, Alexandria, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Monroe and Shreveport. This build-to-suit construction was originally completed in 1999 and renovated in 2006 and is 100% occupied by the FBI until August 2029 under a non-cancelable lease. Additionally, the GSA has an option to renew the lease for an additional 10-year term, expiring in 2039. The New Orleans field office meets the Interagency Security Committee, or “ISC” Level IV requirements and includes a number of security features, including a security crash traffic barrier, 24/7 security, a visitor screening center, and bullet resistant interior walls, doors, and roof.

FBI – Omaha
The FBI – Omaha facility houses one of the FBI’s 56 field offices which carries out investigations, assesses local and regional crime threats, and works closely with partners on cases and operations. The building serves the entire states of Nebraska and Iowa, and is supported by eight satellite offices. The 112,196 square foot, built-to-suit property was constructed in 2009 as part of the FBI’s increased mission following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, is LEED Gold-certified and it is said to be the prototype for the new generation of FBI field offices. Special enhancements include a sally port, line-of-site requirements for secure communications, anti-collapsible walls, ballistic glass, an anti-pathogen HVAC system, a discrete garage and a special vehicle-proof fence with guarded gate.

FBI – Pittsburgh
FBI – Pittsburgh serves as one of 56 FBI field offices located throughout the country. The 100,054-square foot facility was build-to-suit for the FBI in 2001 and is 100% leased. This facility oversees operations for nine surrounding resident agencies located throughout Pennsylvania and the entirety of West Virginia.

FBI – Richmond
FBI – Richmond is one of 56 field offices of the FBI, a bureau-level federal agency within the U.S. Department of Justice that serves a dual role as both a federal criminal investigative body and an intelligence agency. FBI – Richmond serves as the regional headquarters and is responsible for the oversight of six FBI resident agencies located throughout the state of Virginia.

FBI – Salt Lake City
Strategically located near the Salt Lake City International Airport with convenient access to highway I-80, FBI – Salt Lake City is a state-of-the-art, mission critical facility that was built to the detailed specifications and design standards of the FBI. The FBI has had a presence in Salt Lake City since 1914 and is one of 56 field offices located strategically throughout the United States. These field offices provide regional coverage for the nation’s federal criminal investigative body and intelligence agency. This Class A, LEED Gold certified, four-story single tenant facility located on a 7.5-acre campus houses the FBI’s Salt Lake City Division, which oversees federal operations in all of Utah, Idaho and Montana. FBI – Salt Lake City acts as a regional headquarters for the Bureau and directs 18 satellite offices, also known as resident agencies, located throughout the three surrounding states. This build-to-suit construction was completed in 2012 and is 100% occupied by the FBI through October 2032 for a total initial, non-cancelable lease term of 20 years.

FBI – San Antonio
The 148,584-square-foot FBI – San Antonio property serves as one of 56 Federal Bureau of Investigation Field Offices located across the U.S. The San Antonio field office employs officers who investigate a wide array of crimes that include drug trafficking, organized crime, kidnapping, alien smuggling, terrorism, bank fraud and white-collar crime. This build-to-suit property consists of a four-story office building, a separate annex building and a two-story above-ground parking garage. Security features include a perimeter barrier, progressive collapse design and redundant HVAC systems.

FBI – Tampa
FBI – Tampa is a four-story office building located on a roughly seven-acre site that houses the FBI’s Tampa field office, which oversees federal operations over 18 counties through six satellite offices in Brevard, Fort Myers, Lakeland, Orlando, Pinellas, and Sarasota. This build-to-suit property was completed in 2005 and is 100% leased to the General Services Administration (GSA) for the beneficial use of the FBI until November 2040.

FBI / DEA – El Paso
FBI / DEA – El Paso is a three building facility occupied by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The nearly five acre compound totals 203,269 square foot and was constructed in stages between 1998 and 2005.
FBI / DEA – El Paso serves as one of the 56 Field Offices for the FBI as well as one of the DEA’s 23 Domestic Division Offices, both with a strategic location near the U.S / Mexico border. It is 100% leased for the beneficial use of the FBI and DEA under three leases expiring in July 2028.

FBI – Albany
Acquired by Easterly Government Properties in June 2016 as part of a four-property portfolio acquisition, FBI – Albany, a build-to-suit property completed in 1998, is 100% leased through 2018 to the GSA on behalf of the FBI. The 98,184-square-foot property is one of 56 FBI field offices, where the agency fulfills its mission to protect and defend the United States against terrorist and foreign intelligence threats, to uphold and enforce the nation’s criminal laws, and to provide leadership and criminal justice services to federal, state, municipal and international agencies and partners.
