Easterly Government Properties owns a network of several specialized regional laboratories providing  scientific and forensic support to DEA special agents and other law enforcement personnel. The testing performed at Easterly’s labs is considered highly complex to assist the agency in performing mission-critical forensic analyses, such as determining the processing methods, geographic origins, and manufacturers for illegal substances including fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine. All Easterly DEA lab capabilities include drug reverse engineering, drug bust support, water deionization and air filtration (DI) systems to mitigate health risks for forensic scientists analyzing deadly illegal substances.
